Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where is your salon located?

My salon is a private, relaxing room in my home in Dublin. It offers a quiet, one-on-one experience where you can feel comfortable, heard, and fully supported.

2. What is Trichology?

Trichology is the science of the hair and scalp. It helps identify and address concerns like hair loss, dandruff, thinning hair, and other scalp conditions. I’m currently studying with the Institute of Trichologists in London to provide deeper, more personalised care.

3. What does a scalp treatment involve?

Every scalp treatment begins with a closer look at your scalp using a trioscope, following by a discussion about the possibility reason for your concern. I then apply tailored, luxurious products designed to cleanse, stimulate, and nourish your scalp. The treatment promotes blood flow, supports healthy hair growth, and gives you time to fully unwind.

4. Do I need to have a scalp issue to book a treatment?

Not at all. Scalp treatments are beneficial for everyone, whether you’re experiencing specific issues or simply want to maintain a healthy scalp and enjoy a calming, restorative experience.

5. Can I combine scalp treatments with a haircut or blow-dry?

Yes! Many clients choose to finish their treatment with a bespoke haircut and blow-dry, or a blow-dry alone. It’s a lovely way to feel refreshed and confident after your session.

Absolutely. As someone who lives with dyslexia, I value creating a space that’s inclusive, calming, and free from judgment. My one-to-one setting ensures you get the attention and understanding you deserve.

9. How do I book an appointment?

You can book by using the contact form on my website, emailing, or calling directly. All services are by appointment only so you can enjoy a dedicated, uninterrupted experience.

10. Why should I book a consultation?

A trichology consultation is an in-depth, holistic assessment designed to understand your hair and scalp concerns—both past and present. During the consultation, I take the time to explore all possible internal and external factors that may be contributing to your condition. This includes lifestyle, diet, stress levels, medical history, hair care routines, and any recent changes that might be affecting your hair or scalp health.

Using this comprehensive information, I can tailor a personalised treatment plan to support your specific needs. If necessary, I may also recommend a referral to your GP or a dermatologist for further medical evaluation.

You’ll receive a clear explanation of any findings, including a possible diagnosis, why the condition may have developed, and how we can manage or improve it moving forward. Follow-up sessions may also be suggested to monitor your progress and adjust your plan as needed.

(In this appointment there is no treatment wet or dry, purely analysing the hair trough detailed scalp camera for scalp and hair follicles, shake test).
